This is a course aimed at understanding representative works and recent advances on selected topics in Seismology and report and summarize recent "big" earthquakes or those interesting seismic events.

Requirement and Grade Assessment :
The students are required to browse throguh the specified research topics, select and present the relevant papers on the selected topics at least three times in English for the whole semester. In addition, participation in discussion of the presented materials are highly recommended and encouraged.

The final grade is based on the weighted average of the performance in class including presentation and discussion.
